Over the signature of his late father P. Harold Hayes, founder of the Asthmatics Institute (Buffalo, N.Y.), Harold A. Hayes advises Geiger (in seven letters) on the treatment of his asthma using the Institute's proprietary remedies. Hayes also advises Geiger on the management of his hemorrhoids. Several pieces of printed ephemera accompany the correspondence, including a blank symptom questionnaire, instructions for use of the Institute's medications, instructions for the warm water enema, etc.
